Purchasing Specialist

Summary: This position will give you the opportunity to create relationships with not only this world-renowned business but their vendors as you maintain partnerships to help further company success. You will use your skills to manage product needs. Responsibilities: Manage purchase orders and delivery. Keep records of goods ordered and received accurately and in a prompt manner. Create POs for supplies and equipment. Assist managers in budget management. Maintain a high quality of work. Appropriately use and care for equipment and workplace materials. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree. Exceptional strategy, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Able to perform basic mathematical functions. Ability to read paperwork for errors. Able to comprehend instructions and carry them out in written, oral, and diagram form. Excellent with communication and negotiation. Exceptional organizational and interpersonal skills. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office. Experience with ERP systems. Knowledgeable of MRP and supply chain.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
