EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE QUALIFCATIONS: Must have 5 years' experience in all phases of transportation, shipping, receiving, inventory control, sanitation, government compliance and storage of merchandise.? Must realize value of product and must have ability to Plan, lead and execute all phases of the distribution process. This would include developing and implementing new processes to improve overall performance from a customer service and productivity standpoint.


PHYSICAL ATTRIBUTES NEEDED: Must have the physical ability to hear and follow instructions from Superiors.? Must be physically able to handle responsibility for all warehouse and distributing functions, shipping, receiving, sanitation and proper storage of merchandise.


SPECIFIC DUTIES:



  1. Insure that all merchandise is received in proper order and placed in inventory in an orderly and accurate manner.

  2. Make sure all merchandise is slotted correctly and rotated when being placed in inventory.

  3. Maintain picking and reserve slotting system.

  4. Make sure that all hourly personnel are productive, safe and accurate with all work completed.

  5. Conduct a regularly scheduled sanitation program for both the freezer and dry storage. Make certain that all broken cases are disposed of in the most profitable manner possible to the Company.

  6. Make certain all invoices; commercial sales as well as commodity distributions are scheduled for delivery on a timely and acceptable basis.

  7. At all times be in a position to communicate to our sales people as well as customers as to any problems that might arise concerning deliveries.

  8. Design a work schedule for all warehouse employees.

  9. Insure that all Inventory control processes are completed in an orderly and accurate manner.

  10. Supervise all receiving and purchase orders so as to get correct quantity into the computer.

  11. Insure all drivers are checked in daily and paperwork and funds handled appropriately.

  12. Insure that the branch stays compliant with all FDA, USDA, Health department, Yum, ASI and any other regulatory or compliance requirements.

  13. Keep General Manager aware of any misconduct by employees, or any other non compliance or issues regarding performance of the branch that is not within acceptable guidelines.

  14. Work closely with General Manager and buyers to inter branch merchandise, make inventory adjustments in an out as needed.

  15. Insure that all procedures are followed regarding hiring, training, firing, safety etc.

  16. Help insure the security of merchandise and equipment at all times.

  17. Organize and head-up scheduled inventories.

  18. Make sure that the systems that we have in each department are being utilized to the highest form possible :(People-Net, RF, Voice, etc.)

  19. Make sure that the staffing levels in Transportation, receiving, Shipping and other areas of Operations are always at their optimal level for the amount of business that we have.

  20. Develop new ideas and concepts to improve the Operation and implement once approval is obtained.

  21. Any other duties as directed by General Manager/ V.P. of Operations.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
