Marketing Data Analyst (Specialist in Analytics and Decision Sciences)

352 is a digital product development and marketing agency. We build ground-up products for large enterprises, startups and ourselves. We then grow their audiences through digital marketing.

We are looking for a specialist in analytics and decision sciences to implement data tracking and user behavior monitoring for the digital products we build and grow, interpret resulting data, and report findings and recommendations to our clients and internal teams.
You will work alongside diverse teams of passionate marketers to create comprehensive digital strategies, including paid, earned, owned, and shared touch points. Your clients could include brand new SaaS products, marketing-focused websites, enterprise startups, apps, and more.
We are looking for someone with a healthy blend of technical aptitude, strategic thinking, and great communication skills.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide data analysis and strategic insights to help accelerate growth and profitability across all digital marketing channels
Provide strong thought leadership regarding how data and insights translate to actionable strategies
Identify opportunities to scale marketing campaigns
Ability to integrate with multiple 3rd party APIs to aggregate data into a single source of truth
Ability to add tracking events on web and mobile products
Assist with media campaign setup, optimization strategies and attribution of campaigns
Interpret and report on performance trends on a recurring basis across all marketing data points
Evaluate and troubleshoot accuracy of incoming data from third-party vendors
Set up and monitor data experiments to understand unique aspects of user behavior
Requirements
Qualifications
3+ years of experience in marketing data analysis role
Strong quantitative skills to analyze and optimize campaign performance
Ability to turn data into an actionable story
Passion for going beyond basic data queries to understand online behavior
Demonstrated experience working with large volumes of data, especially app and web analytics
Firm understanding of digital data collection
Proficient in SQL and experienced in Javascript
Advanced- to expert-level skills with spreadsheets
Expertise in Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager and Google Adwords
Comfort with adopting new vendor reporting tools
Solid grasp of marketing and/or e-commerce concepts
Deep understanding of key digital marketing metrics (CPA, CPC, CPM, AOV, LTV, etc.)
Ability to clearly and effectively communicate successes and failures of digital campaigns to the team
Attention to detail and the ability to effectively multi-task in a data driven team
Strong distaste for vanity metrics
Extra Credit
Google Tag Manager expertise - you make those variables work
A/B testing and optimization on web/mobile
Data visualization software (Tableau, Power BI, Ninjacat, Klipfolio)

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
