Human Resources Manager

HUMAN RESOURCES MANAGER- The Human Resources Manager guides and manages the overall provision of human resource services. This includes recruitment, employee development, employee retention, policy and program administration for the division. In addition, he/she must be a contributing team member of both the division management team as well as the MacLean-Fogg HR team.
Lead employee and organizational development training including plans and actions
Lead recruitment and selection plans and activities
Lead employee retention actions
Lead the division performance management activities
Champion division wellness activities with internal and external resources
Active and contributing team member on the division management team
Active and contributing team member on the MacLean-Fogg HR team
Share division best practices
Lead and support MacLean-Fogg wide projects
Division payroll and benefits administration
Division HR policy administration
Deploy all policies
Create division specific policies
Support the safety programs and activities
Manage Workers Compensation system
Facilitate and document training activities
Support Mangement Team, division safety SME, and MacLean-Fogg Safety SME
Support a balance of the needs of employees, customers and shareholder
Support the organizational structure ? development and implementation
Lead division applicant tracking and compliance reporting
Follow all Safety, Environmental, and Quality policies and guidleines
Other duties may be assigned or required for this position
Pragmatic problem-solving skills
Ability to convey difficult and challenging information to managers
Knowledge on all different branches of Human Resources is a must
Articulate communicator and ability to interpret and explain written and statistical data to a wide range of audiences.
High standard of attention to detail
Solid commitment to customer or employee service
4 Year Degree
5+ years of experience
PHR or SPHR, preferred

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
